A playful spirit is encouraged.

BREATHWORK w/ Katrina Sorrentino
Description: Active Breathwork
Breathwork sessions use an active up-regulating breathing pattern to guide you out of the analytical mind and into the body. In this state, a session can become a deep inward journey where emotion releases and intuition, insight, memory and creativity surface. You'll spend most of the session lying down with an eye mask, guided by music. A journey between you, your body, and your breath.

House Ceremony w/ Jasper Young Bear
Monday 9:00pm – 11:00pm | Wellness House
Tuesday 9:15pm - 11:15pm | Wellness House
Many of you have participated in the sweat lodge ceremony with Jasper before. Due to current fire restrictions, we won’t be able to gather in the lodge this year, but Jasper is inviting us instead into a House Ceremony — a sacred Indigenous spiritual practice rooted in many of the same teachings of prayer, healing, reflection, and collective focus. The House Ceremony emerged, in part, as a response to colonization and the suppression of Native ceremonial ways following the 1883 Indian Religious Crimes Act, when many communities began gathering quietly inside homes to continue their songs, prayers, and connection to the unseen world. Over time, it evolved into its own distinct form, allowing elders, children, and larger groups to participate together in ceremony.
Led by Jasper Young Bear, the ceremony will center around a sacred altar built through prayer ties, tobacco offerings, fire, and focused intention. This is not a performance or workshop, but a living ceremonial practice where presence and respect are essential. The ceremony will last approximately 90 minutes to 2 hours and include song, silence, reflection, and pauses for grounding. Participants are asked to arrive with openness and intention, refrain from alcohol or substances beforehand, and wear comfortable clothing for sitting. Water will be provided. Participants who wish to bring a personal prayer intention into the space may arrive anytime within the hour before the ceremony begins. Jasper will be available to receive them, sit with them, and accept tobacco offerings.
